Brahmaso Organization is the largest funeral assistance association in Mandalay. On May 7, 1998, the Brahmaso Social Assistance Association was founded in Mandalay. At the time of its establishment, Daw Ama (Ludu) also served as the patron and guided the association.
The association also provides financial assistance to patients who cannot afford hospital expenses. Now, the organization has opened a clinic and is providing free treatment. The exact number of people who have benefited is not yet known, unlimited. The current leaders of the Brahmaso Organisation are Chairperson- Prof. Dr. Nyein Nyein, Secretary - U Maung Maung Tar and doctors.
Abhidhaja Maha Rattha Guru, Abhidhaja Agga Maha Sad- dhamma Jotika Baddanta Teikkha,the Presiding Maha Nayaka of the New Taung Salin Monastery, founded this association on the 12th day of the waxing moon of Kason in the year (1361 ME), corresponding to 7 May, 1998 AD.
